Painting in pastel is a spiritual thing for Sherrie. She feels as though creating pleasing and touching art is God's purpose for her and gives Him credit for any success she has had. Her pastels are really unique in that they are blended, soft and rich with detail. Using her fingers she creates form and shapes striving to capture a moment in time or a simple feeling. For her, light and dark are the key elements - without one the other does not exist.
